TheGiftBasket-Store.com General Customer Service policy

TheGiftBasket-Store.com will make every effort to ship each and every order within the shipping deadlines and to complete customer satisfaction. TheGiftBasket-Store.com will replace or refund the wholesale value of any gift not meeting the customer's satisfaction, deemed damaged or defective. (Assuming the claim is made within the 3 day grace period.) TheGiftBasket-Store.com guarantees all gifts they ship will have the general look and product assortment as the photos used to represent them. (Substitutions are allowed as long as the value is equal or greater the substituted product. We will do our best to substitute within the same "family" of products at all times.)

Purchasing products online

Purchasing our products online couldn't be easier. Just browse our Catalogue under our products section, and click on any items that you wish to buy. You then follow the staged process of adding them to the shopping cart and proceeding to the checkout.

An email confirming receipt of your order will be sent from WorldPay, and this will provide a unique order reference.

Online Payment Methods

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, JCB, Laser, Eurocard, Switch and Solo. You may send your credit card information via the Internet. Our online processing is undertaken by Protx, a world recognised leader in secure online payment processing.

Payment Processing

We will undertake a standard set of credit checks prior to authorising your order to ensure the authenticity of your credit card and delivery address. We reserve the right to request additional proof of identify, where we deem necessary, especially where the goods are requested to be delivered to a different address to that of the credit/debit card holder. We operate a 5 day deferred of payment system where we need to investigate suspicious transactions.

Where we find that the additional identity or proof of address details cannot be confirmed, we reserve the right not to process the order/payment.

Shipping Costs (Postage and Packaging) & Delivery Times

Postage and packaging costs will be added to the value of your order, which you can view prior to purchasing based on the following criteria:

Order & Dispatch Process

Once an order has been received, you will automatically receive a confirmation email from TheGiftBasket-Store.com, confirming receipt of order as well as order details.

We will endeavour to dispatch orders via your chosen shipment method on the day of receipt of order (subject to the item being in stock). A confirmation email response will be sent by email to confirm that the item has been dispatched.

If we do not have your order in stock, we will tell you by either email or telephone at which point we can advise when the item will come into stock and discuss whether you require to cancel that part of the order or wait until it comes into stock.

Claims

All damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 3 business days of the gift being received. There will be NO exceptions to this policy. If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy, TheGiftBasket-Store.com and its US based drop-shipper will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner to the customers satisfaction. Credits and/or refunds will be at the sole discretion of TheGiftBasket-Store.com and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be identified by the carrier. If the customer disposes of the gift before we can verify the damages/discrepancy we will not issue a refund. All claims must be issued in writing by email or fax. Claims will not be accepted via the phone.

Incorrect Address

All orders must be complete with the correct address, city, state and zip. TheGiftBasket-Store.com will not be responsible for a gift being mis-delivered or being delivered late when a bad address is supplied. We will ship to the address supplied on the order A $15.00 Fee will be added to your bill when a bad address is supplied and the carrier needs to make an address correction or when a suite number/ apartment number is not supplied. This fee may and will be incurred any time a zip code, city and state do not match.

Claims or requests for refunds on gifts returned due to a bad address will not honored.

Claims for late deliveries due to missing suite numbers/ apartment numbers or incorrect information will not be honored.

Returns

In the event a carrier returns a gift due to being refused, a bad address being supplied or non availability of a recipient all shipping charges assessed by the carrier will be added to the customers bill and the customer will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Shipping charges usually consist of shipping to the customer, shipping back to TheGiftBasket-Store.com and any address correction fees.

TheGiftBasket-Store.com will allow a 7 day return policy during which any recipient may return a gift at their own expense, within 7 days of receiving it, if not completely satisfied. A refund of the actual cost of the gift only will be honored.

Substitutions

TheGiftBasket-Store.com will make every effort to fill each order exactly as specified on the content listings. However in the event we are out of stock on any item we reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value without prior notice. No refunds or credits will be offered due to substitutions. During hot weather months all chocolate items will be substituted with hard candy items of equal or greater value.

Special Offers

TheGiftBasket-Store.com will regularly be running special offers on specific product lines for limited time periods. These will be highlighted in emails that Newsletter Subscribers receive and will be highlighted on the website. We reserve the right to change these at any time.
